Frustration!

Oh 2020! What a terrible year this continues to be! I know how lucky I am overall, but for several afternoons I have been sadly reminded of the frustration and anguish caused when a platform upgrades to an “improved” editor. When I asked to revert to the editor I have found so easy to use, WordPress support told me that “the older editor has been deprecated [?] and is no longer available.” I finally figured out how to use a version of the old editor that is only slightly different. Here’s hoping it works!

Well, it didn’t work, and I’m still struggling. I was able to add the photo in the “new and improved” editor but can’t resize it.

The term comes from the word ‘deprecate,’ which means to disapprove of something. … In HTML, elements such as tags and attributes may be deprecated from one version to the next.” https://techterms.com/definition/deprecated
    Who knew? Seems like an odd use to me.

  4. Hey Julia, I share your frustration with wordpress–why can’t they just leave good enough alone! However–your photos remain gorgeous! I especially love the fungi. And you can identify all of them–wow!! It’s been such a wet summer that even here in the “city” of Mars Hill, we have mushrooms growing everywhere. I also really love your photo of the misty morning. Hope your week is less frustrating!
